If you enjoy having a a beer every so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your billfold, and leave all cash, charge cards and checks out of the casino. Only take only the cash you intend to use on beverages, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to squander and leave the rest behind.

Contemptuous? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You might have a success after a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that story because it is as brief as it gets if you always consume alcohol and gamble. The two simply do not go well together.

Keeping your money at home is a tiny bit drastic, but precautionary actions for excessive behavior is compulsory. If you bet to win, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to toss away your cash nary a concern, then drink all the gratuitous beer you can handle, but do not pack credit cards and checks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your dead drunk head throws away everything!

Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then go on to the internet to gamble in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my condo, but due to the fact that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink and wager.

Why? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it’s clearly adequate to blur my judgment. I bet, so I do not drink alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
